Room Wall

Give every room in your chat its own post wall, similar to the familiar friends wall: posts, comments, reactions and attachments, but each room keeps its own content and members. The addon works without modifying any core script file.

What members get

• Text posts (up to 500 characters) with emoticons.
• Attach an image, an mp3 audio file, an mp4/webm video, or a pdf/zip file.
• Four reactions on every post: like, dislike, love, funny, with a list of who reacted.
• Comments on posts with a "Load more" button.
• A view counter on every post and a list of who viewed it.
• Post options for the author: turn comments or reactions off on their own post.
• Notifications through the script's own notification system when someone comments on or reacts to your post, opening the post when clicked.
• A badge and sound when a new post arrives in your room.
• Access from the side menu and from a header icon (the header icon can be hidden from the settings).

Moderation tools

• Pin posts to the top of the wall for the room owner and administrators.
• Reporting system: members report posts, staff receive a notification and get a panel to delete the post or dismiss the report.
• Content deletion: the post author, higher-ranked staff, or room staff (optional). Room staff cannot delete content from top-level administration.
• An admin panel inside the addon settings with three tabs:
  • Settings: who can view, who can post and comment, allow attachments, room staff delete permission, show or hide the header icon.
  • Posts: every post from every room, with preview and delete.
  • Rooms: clear the wall of any room in one click.

Security and stability

• Full separation between rooms: a post from another room cannot be read, reacted to, or deleted.
• Uploaded files are checked by their real content, not only their extension, so spoofed harmful files are rejected.
• Automatic cleanup of pending files and of posts that belong to deleted rooms or members.
• Flood limits and protection against forged requests, and the script's banned-words filter is applied to posts and comments.

Addon details

• Languages: Arabic and English.
• Install from the admin panel (Addons, then Install). A license key from the store is required after purchase.
• Modifies no core files, and removes all of its tables and files when uninstalled.
